- In order to register, you will need to share your email address. You have register as a user to access and make full use of our Services. Once you register, you will have an account with BedRater and a password to access that account. In order to create an account, you will need to provide your name, an optional photo and an optional city where you reside.
- You may not use another person's account without permission and you may not use anyone else's password. You should keep your registration current and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Please also let us know if there is any unauthorized use of your account or password. We recommend that you always log out from your account at the end of a session with us to prevent other people from accessing your account without your permission.
- In order to rate a bed, you will be required to choose the location of your stay, the bed comfort level and the mattress firmness level. You may, at your option, provide the dates for your stay, a review of the stay and any photos you wish to share with BedRater and our Users.

BedRater may also collect information about you from other sources to help us correct or supplement our records, improve the quality or personalization of our service to you, and prevent or detect fraud. We work closely with third parties (for example, business partners, service providers, subcontractors, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, fraud protection services) and may receive information about you from them.
c. Electronically collected information:
When you access our Services, certain information is automatically collected to enhance your user experience and ensure the functionality of our services. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, and other technical details. We may also gather information about your interactions with our website or application, such as the pages you visit, the features you use, and the duration of your sessions.
We may collect technical information about visitors to our Services (“Online User Activity”), through cookies and other technology. Finally, our Services maintain network and system logs of activity on our Services and provide another way for us to gather statistics about users’ browsing habits, such as how many and how often users have accessed or used our Services, which pages were visited and other similar data.

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) of 2023 provides similar rights to the CCPA above which you may exercise. The security of your personal information is important to us. Information that you submit in relation to a financial transaction is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We are concerned about the safety of children on the Internet but this site is not directed at children. We want you and your family to be safe while visiting our Services. Please note that our Services are not designed for children but can be appropriate in some instances with proper parental supervision.
